A simple tool to scan the contents of a file on the internet while downloading it.
Give the full URL to the file to scan (download)
Give the full path to save the file (e.g. C:myfile.bin)
Optional: Provide the path to an external program (e.g. a hexeditor) to open the part that has been downloaded and
The purpose was to scan the header section of a new file, figuring out the whole file format, without having to
download the whole file. Saves A. Download time and B. Harddisk space. The days where internet was still not that
superfast and downloading massive files a timeconsuming business.
